The Tamkang Bridge is the world's longest main span (450 meters) and largest single-tower asymmetrical cable-stayed bridge. It was designed by the team of the late Pritzker Architecture Prize winner, British architect Zaha Hadid, known as the "Queen of Curves". The bridge design incorporates the imagery of the dynamic dance moves of dancers from the Taiwanese dance troupe Cloud Gate Dance Theatre.
