Brave New World

"Civilization is but a colossal hallucination, woven from chemicals and conditioning.

We reside at the precipice of Huxley’s prophecy: numbing our tremors with medicine and fueling consumption through collective hypnosis. This is a paradise scrubbed of pain, yet why do we, the inhabitants, appear so profoundly sorrowful?

Technological shifts have failed to nourish the soul; digital connectivity has only amplified our boundless desires. Beneath the polished, calculated order of the city, we have forgotten what it means to be human. What this photograph captures is the desolation leaking from this 'perfect' metropolis—a world littered with loneliness."
